Greetings, This is just an update on our singing group "Musicali Cumpari". Our last performance was 3 years ago. When COVID started, we had to suspend all of our concerts and a lot has happened since then. Some members of our group have passed on and many of us have had or still have health issues. I was expecting to start up our group again this month and planned to have a rehearsal before our regular club meeting on Thursday, September 14th. As I began to talk to members on the phone to tell them about the rehearsal, I quickly realized that several members can't (due to health issues) be in the group any longer. The unfortunate reality is that we do not have enough singers in the group to perform our program "on the road". I have made the VERY difficult decision NOT to start up the singing group again. I want to thank each one of you for your participation. I think we had even more fun performing than the people in the audience did. This group started in 1980 when most of us were in our 30's or 40's; now almost all of us are in our 70's or 80's and that brings with it some unavoidable inherent "obstacles". I am sure that you have fond memories of performing and of our yearly dinner gatherings with our significant others just as I do and it is not an easy thing to let all that go. I will always treasure our times together and I thank each one of you for making our group so special. It has been a wonderful journey.... Dave DaveCampanario

FROM THE PRESIDENT:
As we turn the page from 2022 to 2023, we have so much to be thankful for. With things starting to come back to "normal", we served a record amount of people at our spaghetti dinner. Also, we had a great turnout for our Italian-American Day dinner. I would like to personally, thank a few people that make my job easier: Jim Carroll - for his involvement with the Club and all our meals throughout the year; Ron Marsaa - for running our website and making changes whenever I ask him; the Women's Auxiliary - for pitching in and helpng on any occasion as needed; Mr. D's, VIP Pizza, the American Legion, and Golden Inn for being gracious hosts throughout the entire year. Lastly, I would like to thank all the Club members for coming to our meetings and helping at our events. All of you make our organization great - and I am so proud to be part of it. I look forward to an exiciting 2023... and thank you for 2022.
Thank you for making our organization great. Stay safe. Granzie, Dan Klaas
